Mom has been on a mission these past few days. Everything feels so weird with Dad gone. This place doesn't feel like home anymore.
Watching my dad die in front of my eyes was almost too much for me to handle. Tala was just as distraught as I was over our father. She let that rage consume her, and forced us to shift.
I had never experienced pain like I did then. It hurt so bad that I thought I would die. The moment I had shifted, though, all I saw was red. I tackled the man that had killed my father. Everything was so blurry.
