Jane tried to break Sophie's grip on her. She felt strange about the girl's attitude. Sophie looked terrified. Jane put her hand on the girl's shoulder and asked about Sophie's condition.
"What is it?" asked Jane.
"Wo-wolf ..." Sophie hesitated to say because Sam glared at her.
Jane frowned. "You met the wolf?" asked Jane. Her voice rose as if worried. She was worried that Sophie would meet the rogues who did have settlements in the forest.
Sam closed his eyes. He was worried that Sophie would tell about Sarah, who had killed a human, but didn't Sophie know that it was Sarah who killed the human?
