Sophie was surprised and horrified when a beautiful woman came to her with eyes filled with hatred. The woman didn't seem to accept Sophie's presence in this place. But why? And who is she?
"Why?" Sophie asked. The girl tried to be nice even though the beautiful woman looked angry at her. "Did I do something wrong to you?"
"Huh!" The beautiful woman chuckled. Even her laughter showed her distaste for Sophie. "A wrong? Your being here was a mistake. You are a disgrace to Wolfburg!" cried the woman.
Nobody don't know where it came from. Sam, the handsome man who constantly stalked Sophie, suddenly appeared near the beautiful woman.
"Sarah!" shouted Sam. "Don't do anything!"
'Sarah? This woman's name is Sarah?' Sophie thought.
Sarah, the beauty, turned to Sam. She looked surprised that Sam was calm with Sophie's presence. "You already know, Sam?" asked Sarah.
Sam didn't answer. He looked instead at Sophie. "Go back to your room, hurry!" Sam ordered Sophie as if he were the leader of this place.
"Why? What did I do wrong?" Sophie asked.
"Sam, explain to me!" Sarah urged Sam, but Sam was still staring at Sophie. He waited for her to go up the stairs.
"Miss, hurry back to your room!" Sam raised his voice.
Sophie shook her head. She wouldn't listen to Sam's orders. Who is he? Sophie should follow.
"Why are you ordering me? Who are you?" Sophie said.
Sophie's words managed to make Sarah raise the square of her emotions to another level. She looked at Sophie with deep hatred. Sophie looked down, but something was off. Sophie saw Sarah's eyes light up.
"What ..." Sophie hadn't finished saying her words, but Sarah's hand was already on Sophie's neck. Sophie wasn't just breathing.
Sam grabbed Sarah's hand, but Sam couldn't get rid of the pretty girl's hand.
"He-help!" Sophie groaned. Sam was confused. He looked around. But Sophie was sure it wasn't a look for help. It was Sam's frightened look. He was afraid that others would see Sarah violently against Sophie.
"Stop it, Sarah!" shouted Sam.
"What did you say? Stop it? On this human? Humans can't be here. That's the rule, Sam! How could she be in Wolfburg!"
Sophie's face had turned pale when something seemed to be coming towards Sarah and made her bounce. Sophie saw Sarah's body thrown quite a distance, but the girl was fine.
In Sophie's mind, there were noises like people talking. But no words came out.
"Sarah! You come to my room!" Jane stood by the stairs with an angry expression on her face.
"Jane?" Sophie was surprised. She didn't see Jane coming. And what had struck Sarah.
"Sam, take Sophie to her room!" Jane ruled.
"I am?" Sam looked confused. He seemed reluctant to walk Sophie upstairs.
Jane turned to Sam. "She's part of us. You have to accept that, Sam. Don't you believe me?"
Sam seemed unable to argue with Jane's words. Sophie was perplexed about what was happening in this place. She had just arrived, but almost everyone she met was acting strange.
Sam didn't flinch. He looked at Sophie and motioned for her to hurry upstairs.
"Jane?" Sophie asked Jane for an explanation.
"Not yet, Sophie. I'll tell you everything when you're ready," Jane replied.
Sophie was confused, but there was nothing she could do. Sam continued to stare at her to urge Sophie to hurry back to the room.
Sophie sighed. She walked up the stairs accompanied by Sam. They were silent as they walked. Sophie was filled with questions in her head. While Sam was like a bodyguard watching Sophie's gaze.
Sophie heard a voice in her mind. The voices of Jane and Sarah arguing below. Sophie didn't want to wonder about the voices that kept popping up in her mind. But Sarah and Jane's argument made Sophie suspicious.
"How could you bring a human to Wolfburg? How if Alpha finds out? You even let Sam be with her! You want to conspire?" cried Sarah.
"Keep your voice down!" Jane gave Sarah a warning. She held back from speaking as if she knew that Sophie could hear their conversation from a distance.
Sam glanced at Sophie, who continued to walk towards the fifth floor. He seemed to know that Sophie was focusing on something.
"Your name is Sophie, right?" said Sam.
"I introduced myself in the infirmary. Do you have Alzheimer's?" Sophie replied curtly. She was annoyed that no one had told her anything about what had happened downstairs.
Sam looked at Sophie, who kept walking. She knew why Sophie was angry, but Sam couldn't say anything. Jane had already said she would tell Sophie everything.
"Be patient. Jane will tell you everything," Sam said curtly.
By the way, they have already adapted to the third floor. Sophie stopped in her tracks and looked at Sam.
"What's the matter? Why are you being so weird with me? What should I know? Why does Jane have to wait me to be ready? Then why isn't there an elevator in this place? Aren't you tired of walking upstairs like this?"
Sophie tapped her foot against the stairwell. Her leg still hurts. Walking on the stairs is really exhausting.
"Humans are troublesome," said Sam.
The handsome man moved closer to Sophie. He grabbed the girl's waist and lifted Sophia's body with great ease.
"What are you doing?" Sophie screeched in complete shock. She had never been touched by a man in all this time. Mainly being carried like this.
"Be quiet!" said Sam. He did carry Sophie, but he had a look of displeasure on his face doing this to her.
Sam walked up the stairs to the fifth floor. Sophie wanted to rebel, but Sam's hand was holding her tightly. Sophie barely even heard Sam's heavy breathing. Logically, there was no way Sam couldn't get tired of carrying Sophie and walking up the stairs.
"You're a bodybuilder, aren't you?" Sophie asked.
Sam didn't answer. He just focused on his eyes ahead. Sophie didn't stop talking. She wanted to ask again and again.
"Why is that woman angry and hates me? Her eyes change when she strangles me? Why are you silent? Why aren't you tired when you carry me?"
Sam Sighed. He was furious, then looked at Sophie. "I'll throw your body down if you ask again? I won't answer anything!"
