"Since the beginning, you were meant to belong to me, and if my family wasn't afflicted with such greed, I would have been the one watching you walk down that aisle instead of that bastard."

"Are you saying that you've always loved me?"

"No. I'm saying that we are cut from the same piece and all my life. I've been living as only half a man while waiting til the day I could claim the very best part of me."

On her wedding day, Noel finds her husband-to-be together with her half-sister Joelle. Devestated, she flees the wedding and is taken away by a knight on a metal steed. However, when she learns the identity of her hero, she doesn't know what to believe in anymore and she finds herself in a contract that involves her carrying and baby while she produces a marriage certificate to claim her pack and everything that was meant to be hers from the very beginning.

But what happens when something that was supposed to simply be beneficial for both parties begins to turn into something more? Will Noel be willing to open her heart up again or will she run from the one fate always meant to be hers?

End Before It Begins
[Noel’s POV] “Oh! That’s it! Right There!” They say that your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. “Harder! f**k me harder!” That it’s supposed to be the beginning of a happiness that everyone strives for from the minute they’re born. “Oh goddess! Hunter! I’m going to c*m!” It’s the day that you and the person you love become each other’s one and only till death do you part. Through sickness and health, for better or worse and all that jazz. “I’m cumming!” Oh, how desperately I wanted that. Especially after being raised in a family that didn’t give two shits about me. After being pushed aside since birth because I didn’t possess the thing that determined your worth in the world I was born into, I thought finally I would have someone in my corner. Someone who cared about me despite my shortcomings. So why? Why was I standing here clad in my fluffy white wedding gown that I spent so many hours picking out with my makeup done to perfection and my hair curled and beaded to make me dazzling for this exact day listening to the sound of my twin sister and my husband-to-be f*****g? I guess the joke was on me. Where I thought that I was finally, FINALLY, able to start my new life where I received everything that was meant for me with Hunter by my side, I was learning that the idea of forever was mine and mine alone. I simply came here to see him for a few minutes before the ceremony because I was getting butterflies and thought that he would be able to calm me. His presence alone always calmed my heart when the world was too heavy; it was like that since the first day we met, and until this point, he was always able to give me that reprieve that I craved, but little did I know that today, instead of calming me, he would be crushing my heart into a million pieces. “Hunter,” Joelle whispers, her voice breathless. “Hurry up and get my sister pregnant so that you can leave her and be with me.” Flinching, I let her words settle over me. Get my sister pregnant. Get me f*****g pregnant. Was that the only reason that Hunter was with me? Because he wanted to plant his seed in me and create an heir that would be more powerful than the alpha king? No. That couldn’t be. I never told him a thing about me or my heritage. As far as he knew, I was nothing more than a weak omega without an ounce of wolf abilities, but the carrier of a gene that could create a wolf so powerful it could destroy nations and reshape the way our packs worked entirely. “Soon,” Hunter murmurs, snapping me out of my reverie. “Soon, we will be able to be together openly.” “That’s right.” I growl, unable to stand it any longer. Letting my anger get the better of me, I kick open the door blocking me from the cheating couple and storm inside, where I find Joelle perched on top of Hunter’s lap with her dress pulled down below her breasts. She clings to him like a f*****g spider monkey, and he grips her ass so firmly I’m certain that he is leaving bruises on her skin. His sandy brown hair is messy from what they had been doing, and his pale skin is flushed. Even his dark blue eyes are sparkling with the afterglow of a wonderful release. “Noel!” Hunter gasps, taking me in. “Why are you…” “Why am I here?” I ask. “What? Are you upset that I interrupted your private time with my sister?” My sister. He was sitting here f*****g my sister! And my sister was f*****g him! “How long?” I ask slowly, trying my damndest to get my temper in check. “What?” Hunter asks, attempting to get up, but stopping as Joelle clings to him more firmly. “Joelle.” “What?” She asks, looking from Hunter to me. “What’s the point of trying to deny things now?” For a moment, Hunter doesn’t speak as he looks at me, taking me in with a look that almost screams, Please forgive me. But I keep my expression blank despite the excruciating pain in my chest. “You heard her,” I say. “Why try to deny it when you’ve been caught red-handed? Nothing you say will make this any better.” “Then what do you plan on doing?” He asks, taking me by surprise. “Our wedding will be starting shortly. Both our packs are here waiting for us to become man and wife.” “That’s too bad,” I say, narrowing my gaze. “It looks like they came all this way for nothing. Or,” I continue, snapping my gaze to Joelle. “You could just go ahead and marry my sister today.” “What?” He hisses. “What the hell are you saying? How could I possibly do that when…” “When what?” I snarl, my anger boiling over. “When you’re supposed to marry me and impregnate me? There’s no way I’m walking down that aisle or saying any vows with you.” Turning, I begin to move while the sound of movement reaches me, and when Hunter’s large hand wraps around my wrist, I attack, whirling around and digging my nails into his cheek as my palm connects with it. “Don’t touch me with the hands you touched Joelle with!” I shriek, storming out of the lounge and toward the exit of the church that we were supposed to hold our wedding in. Ignoring Hunter’s protests from behind me, I storm outside and then beeline for the street just as someone on a motorcycle pulls up. “Hey!” I call, rushing toward them as they prepare to take off their helmet. “Can you give me a ride, please?” Growing quiet, I wait as the person stares at me through a black screen that blocks their face entirely, and when I hear a commotion behind me, I know that I am running out of time to escape. “I’ll pay you!” I push, peeking over my shoulder at not only Hunter and Joelle but even our parents as they move toward me. “Just please, take me away from here right now.” “Hop on.” I don’t need any more encouragement before I’m doing as instructed despite the puffy dress that I’m wearing, and once I’m in place, my unexpected hero is revving the bike to life and carrying me away on his metallic steed.
