HACIANOS HERMANOS
(HERMANES HACIENDA)
It was again a cloudy day as he looked up in the sky. He didn’t know but every time he looks up in the sky it feels soothing and a familiar ambiance of something in his body but he doesn’t care at all. He loves the drops of the rain dripping and seeping in his skin.
He loves the whirling icy wind that seeps through his skin and veins like he belongs into something he can’t describe. But one thing is on his mind, a lady. A picture of a lady that he must find, he must have. He pulled a ragged old dirty white cloth out of his wallet, careful not to tear it apart for it is too old.
A perfect and illustrated painting of a lady that every time he sees it, it squirms his heart in pain, and a tear will escape in his eyes.
Too much sorrow and too much pain that he cannot even describe why, so he must search for her. It was his grandfather also told him to find this lady in the picture for it answer all of his questions and before his grandfather passed away, he confesses something he didn’t understand for he has shortness of breath while saying those words, only one sentence he understands and that is ‘the lady in the picture and you two have connections to each other you must find her’ and after that, his breath cut off and he was dead.
Hades looks at the picture and caresses it carefully, like it was a fragile thing.
“Let me find you, help me find you,” Hades muttered under his breath as he looks at the beautiful picture. A whirl of a stiff wind touches his skin and something in a cold voice whispers in his ears. “With this ring, please find me and take me away here, please.” A soft touch in his heart which makes his hands clench and form into a fist and his knuckles turn to white. His eyes went darker than before and breath ragged.
He is not hallucinating things; he knows that he knows himself that all of those whispers are not hallucinations. He’s not making things up and he will not get rid of it this time. She needs his help. Hades closes his eyes and his vision goes somewhere in place, trying to find where that voice came from. Blood dripped in his nose, but he didn’t give a hell of care he must find her.
His heart palpitates fast, his mind slowly giving his body faintness, but Hades was aggressive to find her.
Until he spots a young girl and if he is not mistaken, she is only a 10-year-old girl. He notices her puffy and red eyes, she’s crying and she seems to talk at her ring. He clenches his fist.
“It’s you.” Hades hissed, he cannot help himself but a question. He looks closer to the face of the girl sobbing.
Her eyes were closed, it swelled her lips red, her long hair was black as ebony, her eyebrows were thick and trimmed and her skin is white and pale. Hades roamed his eyes through the body of the young girl, yes it is abuse but he wanted to make sure. It’s so young but has a similarity in the lady in the picture he has.
It surprised Hades to see a woman looking at the young girl. The woman who has a business with him tonight.
“I see, it was like the faith speaks itself.”
Hades looked at the young girl and was shocked when her eyes were open and were like looking at him. She has a violet color of eyes.
Hades opens his eyes, and he finds out that he lost a lot of blood, but he doesn’t mind at all. He pulled a chair and looked up at the sky and tried to calm himself and try to catch his normal breathing.
“Ire pot ti, mi esposa.” (I will come for you, my wife.)
Hades startled when his phone suddenly rings. It was his secretary. Hades was waiting patiently for his secretary to call. He already knows what he is going to tell.
“Speak Michael,” Hades answered in the line and heard his secretary swallow his lump. It’s weird for him to hear those things.
“Elena Klea Ysares, a mistress of the most influential business person in the industry Alejandro Ysares, is now deceased. Their company is now suffering in debt, a lot of debt, and I cannot name all of those things. Elena is in alcohol and drugs, we have men in the black market and Elena is a slick woman, I must say.
Lots of debt is all I can see in her records out there and here. And now the house they are living in now is in the bank's name. Elena has a daughter named Lissana Ysabelle Ysares, the only child of the Ysares. She’s a ten-year-old girl, not studying outside but her IQ is high, she’s homeschooling by his father but now that he is dead her studies stop.
When her mother started using drugs and alcohol Elena used to beat her every night. Elena was always with a man and you know what I mean and what they are doing and I know Lissana knows all of this. I don’t know how deep or how painful her bruises, her mother didn’t send her for medications or any hospitals because maybe she’s afraid for her daughter to ask help from anyone.
And I have searched for basic information about what Lissana’s likes, I don’t know what Jade vine looks like but she loves those, her father used to get her ones when she was eight years old every year of her birthday. That’s all I had now, Señor Hades, I can search for more if you-“ Hades cut him off and a smile crossed his lips.
“Así que esta Elena es con la que me reuniré esta noche” (So this Elena is the one I am meeting tonight.)
“Sí Señor, lo es.” (Yes, Señor, it is)
