Although his eyes were partly hidden by the mask, the man could not tear his gaze away from Larissa. He was admiring her beauty but it felt odd to stare at her like that when she was crying, sprawled on the floor after falling badly. He thought that she must have been running judging by her erratic breathing. “Can you stand?” He asked again, voice muffled by the full mask he was wearing. It was nothing too extravagant, a plain white mask that had a neutral facial expression design. An indication that he was not too eager to join the masquerade festivities since the other guests made their masks incredibly colorful. The man just picked out the most basic one and wore it.
