Chapter 8The next few days were a whirlwind of activity for Milo. Leon made sure they spent the entire weekend together. Then came an invite from his parents, who were hosting a soiree that Leon was delighted to accept, and Milo felt he had to attend. Finally, Leon’s own parents invited Milo and his parents to a dinner party, with the kind of guests that were guaranteed to have his parents’ approval.
The best he’d been able to do was send Jonty texts. All of which had been answered in a style so unlike his best friend, that Milo was itching to get to see him. Despite the almost incessant socialising, Milo had made sure to return to his own home, or his own bed, every night.
