Owen’s POV
Ally and Amber had no idea who Syd’s father really was. She casually mentioned that he was meeting with “some guys from work” and that meant he was probably meeting with Alphas. She gave me a knowing look. If the Chancellor was coming here I could only assume it was because his people had found something out about Ally. Ths made me nervous. What couldn’t he tell us over the phone? Then again, he could just miss his only daughter and needed to be in the area.
I didn’t want to think about it too much. I wanted all of my attention to be on Ally.
