CHAPTER 21
Khalan finally agreed to Aliyah's wish to have a quiet wedding. However, despite her insistence on a simple celebration, Khalan refused. He booked them in an exclusive luxury resort on an island. All guests, 30 or so guests, would be chartered and accommodated for three days.
Aliyah's head spun crazily when she learned of what Khalan did.
She confronted him right away when he arrived home from the office.
"Khalan, we can feed one thousand people for a month with this wedding budget. How can it be simple?" Aliyah was utterly shocked when she asked for the cost of accommodation alone. It was not what they had agreed upon.
