Chapter 28(1): We belong together

"Hey, hon. Just calm down. You're stressing out yourself too much." Levi said gently. "You should sit down and relax." He added as he follow his mate's every movement.

He is currently sitting on the couch while Maddison is busy pacing back and forth in front of him.

"No." She firmly replied, stopping on her tracks for a second before she turned around and walk again. "I shouldn't just sit and relax while my sister is missing. I can't just calm down without knowing where she is and if she's alright." She added as she worry about her sister. Biting her lips while rubbing her arms. A habit of hers everytime she worried too much.

It's already half past nine in the morning but her sister is still nowhere to be found. She didn't get worried yesterday when they can't call her since she knew the reason behind it, even when Skye wasn't there when she got home. But when the night sets in and there still no signs of her, she started to get worried. She tried to call her a thousand times but it all directed to a voicemail.

"Maybe she just visited a friend and hang out with them." Levi said suggestively. "Then have a sleepover." He added with a shrugged trying to lighten up her mood but it still didn't help to calm Maddison down.

"That's impossible!" She exclaimed, rasing both her hands in the air. "Skye didn't know this town well enough and her only friends were your packs." Maddison continued, finally stopping herself from pacing and just stood there. Her hands also starting to get sweaty.every seconds she got worry. "And she wouldn't just leave the town without letting me know it. She always tell me her whereabouts cause she knew I worry too much."

Levi had nothing to say. His lover was right. Skye maybe a trouble but she always tries not to let Maddison worry for her. He kept his mouth shut and just stared at his lover who sighed for a thousand times before she sat beside her.

"I should've not let her go alone yesterday. I should have accompanied her rather than let her by herself." She said, feeling distressed and just facepalm. Worrying all night didn't let her sleep and it's taking it's toll on her as she felt tired.

"Hey, hey." Levi was quick on her side. "Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. Maybe she just had a reasons." He said as he gently rub her back. "Don't worry, Fisher and his men are doing their best. They could track her scent so it wouldn't take long before they could found her." He added before Maddison hugged him. He reciprocated it and he was glad it help to calm his lover down as her tensed shoulders were relaxing a bit.

They stayed in that position for a moment before they hear the door open. It caught their attention and they both look at it's direction.

"Hey guys. We found something." Piper said as soon as she barges in on Maddison's house. Behind her was Seamus. The two lover didn't get a chance to get confuse when the girl lifted a rectangular object to them. It's Skye's phone. Maddison immediately stood up and took it from Piper's hand. The phone was still turned off when she checked it.

"We found it in Harold's cabin by the lake. It was left in the kitchen's counter top." She continued, catching her breath a little. "She went there but there's no sign that she had slept. It just only seems like she had been drinking cause we found a bottle of vodka outside the balcony."

"Oh my god." Maddison reacted immediately from the information, covering her mouth. She looks like she was about to cry. It's not unlikely for Skye to drink alcohol but leaving her phone was. She didn't want to have thoughts but Skye being there alone, drunk and just beside the lake creates bad scenarios in her mind.

"Where is Fisher? Do they have a lead now?" Levi was the one who asked between them since Maddison can't.

"It looks like they have." Seamus's said, giving both of them a hesitant look. "They have seen her shoes by the dock but there's only a faint scent of her on that area. Now we had a hard time tracking her scent since it rained early in the morning." He added.

"Oh no." Maddison shut her eyes and took a deep breath. She doesn't hate rains but it's seems like it is now. Since it just erased the only way they could found her.

Levi immediately hold her. Afraid that she might lost her balance. He can feel her trembling under his arms.

"But don't worry." Piper started. "Sheriff and the others including Vanessa and Dean were already looking around the woods. And Seamus and I will go back there to help them." She added and they were about to go out when Maddison speaks.

"I'll go with you." She said. Her voice wavered a little.

"No, hon." Levi's quick reply. "You must stay here. Let me go with them instead."

"Oh, Lev." Maddison said shaking her head. "Please don't let me stay here and wait for her to come back. I can't just do that. Just let me help, please." She added with pleading eyes.

Levi contemplated a little but eventually agreed when he nods his head. "Okay." He shortly replied.

The four didn't waste time and got out from the house immediately. Maddison lock the door before they went to their respective cars. Seamus and Piper used Dean's truck while Levi drives Maddison's car. They both started the ignition and drive away. All the while Maddison is praying hard to God that he would keep her sister safe.
