The Silver Day wolves were indeed too trusting. It made my job so much easier. I disguised as a weak omega who specific people liked to bully, it made it easier to inspire sympathy.
“Here, hold Rena. I’m going to go to the bathroom real quick,” Clara said, handing me the Alpha’s daughter.
After staying with them for three months, they were stupid to trust me with anyone. Especially someone as defenceless as the Alpha’s five months old babe. The little bundle in my arms stared unimpressed at me.
“Hello, munchkin bunchy.” I made funny faces and tickled her side. Just because I was going to betray her family and entire pack didn’t mean I couldn’t appreciate her cuteness. “How’s my itty bitty Rena banana doing this fine afternoon?” She still wouldn’t c***k a smile so I made a crossed eye and stuck out my tongue. It did the trick.
A lot of people have different opinions about me but really, I’m simply fabulous. Ask the child giggling in my arms.
For a newborn, Rena Vaughn sure had a lot of attitude. I was one of only three people who could make her laugh. She stared at every other person trying to make her laugh like they were losers. And they were. They always lost the game of making the future alpha laugh.
“Get out of my way, omega,” A blonde haired bimbo muttered, shouldering me out of my way. My way because she had come out of nowhere.
Ah. The bullies.
They were everywhere. Whether as a rogue or a werewolf.
On a normal day, I would make her eat dust but not on Silver Day land.
On Silver Day land, I was Indigo Penn, the lowly omega that her father sent out after she failed to shift on her eighteen birthday. I was not the daughter of the most feared rogue, the king of rogues. I was just a sad girl.
My disguise was perfect. I had been sure to approach the alpha female and beg on my knees to be a part of her pack. A good sob story won her over and now she treated me as her friend. A stray collector, the alpha. Gahd! It was almost too easy. Being friends with the alpha female meant being friends with Clara Hansen. I almost cackled.
“You’re going to hate me when I’m done with your family,” I told the little bundle that was slowly falling asleep in my arms. No, I did not feel any pang of regret. She was going to be fine. Her parents? Not so much.
“Hey, thanks for helping out,” Her mother, Remi said, taking her out of my arms. The little brat smiled a toothless smile at her mother. I watched her melt.
“It’s no problem. Is there anything else to set up before I leave?” I asked, looking around. An Omega always helps out.
There was a makeshift bar that the alpha and gamma had set up and drinks were already arranged there. Clara, the one I was going to kidnap, made finger foods while I directed those putting up the big welcome back sign.
The Beta was very famous amongst his pack mates and half the young wolves turned up to help surprise him. It was sweet. It almost made me see packs from a different angle but then I remembered.
I hadn’t been in the midst of a lot of pack wolves. Staying with the Silver Day pack and pretending to be one of them still made me feel uneasy. I had stayed with them for three months. The feeling of unease wasn’t entirely because of the danger I was putting myself in by being a spy. There was always an uneasy feeling when rogues and pack wolves met. I had to mask my scent with a potion to make sure they never caught my real scent. I was a rogue. I smelt like one.
I hated pack wolves. The few I ever met looked down their nose at me. They were repulsed by me. They thought themselves better than I was because they belonged to a pack. They also tried to kill me at every chance they got. Not exactly a glowing remark for friendship.
It was the reason I always had to mask my scent. It was one of the reasons I hate anything pack or pack related.
I joined Remi and Clara to finalize things and then we all left the pack house’s basement together. Them to the house they shared with their mates and me to the room I occupied in the packhouse.
I wondered what it felt like to have a mate.
I expelled the thought out of my head with force. Rogues had no business falling in love.
A b***h bumped into me as I walked to my room, smirking as she left. It was the same one from the basement. She didn’t know me but I knew her. She was going to be very instrumental in the plan to ruin her pack.
Ashley Walters.
A pretty name for a pretty girl. Too bad she left her manners in hell. I would probably have to teach her a lesson. She had crossed my path three times. I had to do something about that.
I entered my room and groaned. It was a nice room. A bed and desk. There was even a little shelf with books from the last person to stay in the room. Yet, it was nothing compared to the room I was used to. Growing up as the daughter of a rogue mafia lord translated to both danger and affluence.
The bed was not big enough. There was no giant flat-screen t.v. The WiFi did not clock at three hundred megabytes per second. The air conditioning could not make my lips blue. Where was my big fridge? My huge shelf of crime fiction? I missed my normal room. I would be back to it soon though. My mission was slowly coming to an end.
I had a detailed map of the Silver Day territory. I had the trust of the Alpha and the Earth Elemental. I would be back to my luxury soon. All I had to do was tell Clara Hansen I wanted to go shopping for the Alpha’s twins and she would be ecstatic enough to follow me.
I didn’t do an evil laugh but I wrung my hand together. It was too easy.
Silver Day pack made sure all their pack members were comfortable but they could not afford to give me the comfort I received from my father’s mansion. The bed just wasn’t big enough. I couldn’t complain though. Oh, no.
After lying that I was an omega who used to have nothing, asking for a bigger bed would be a sure way to arouse suspicion. Also, I had told them I used to sleep on the floor so yeah...
There were three rooms in this house that looked like paradise. They were the Alpha Suite. Beta Suite and Gamma Suite. They were the only rooms that could compete with the one I had at home.
The Alpha Suite was the most superior but the Alpha popped in every now and then. I couldn’t risk getting caught in the Alpha’s bed but the Beta was away. I could get away with sleeping in his sheets while he looked for his mate.
I put on my pink bunny slippers and tiptoed out of my room. I kept to the shadows. Most people were either asleep or down in the basement, partying their lives away. I caught the faint outline of a girl in a preposterous skirt. I could see the curve of her butt in the darn outfit!
Only one slut would dress like that and I had a score to settle with her.
Ah, I pulled my disguise cap lower over my head and walked towards her.
“Boop!” I breathed from behind her, making the w***e jump. She turned on me with a glare and damn! Her t**s were going to jump out at me any second.
“What do you want, freak?” She sneered in her famous nasty voice.
“That the best you got, buttercup? I could s**t out a smarter sentence if I drank an alphabet soup!” I snarled, making sure to disguise my voice.
“I’m busy and you’re ugly anyway. Move before I make you.”
“b***h, please. I can take off your beauty with a wet rag. You still trying to suck Jake’s c**k?” I taunted.
“You stupid –“ I ducked. Air passed across my face as I dodged her slap.
Perfect. I grinned to myself. It had been so long since I put a b***h in her place.
“Maybe if you ate the cake of makeup on your face you would be a little pretty on the inside,” I said before giving her an uppercut. She went down like a sack of potatoes.
I couldn’t go for her while she was on the ground. That would have exposed my face. Instead, I made sure to rub the bottom of her bunny slippers all over her pound of makeup.
Maybe next time she would think twice before being a b***h to anyone. I grinned as I walked away.
“It was nice f*****g up your face!”
Why wait for karma when vengeance can be mine, am I right?

Ah, the sheets were so smooth! The bed was even heated! Darn, the cleaner really did go the extra mile that day.
“Aww, fuccckk,” I moaned when I settled into a comfortable position.
“Oh, hell. I need to feel this better.” I didn’t know why but the cleaners had changed the sheet and heated the bed. They even put in some citrus-scented candles! I hated citrus but damn, the room was extra nice that day!
I took off my pyjamas, discarding them on the floor beside me.
“Yes, this is the life.” I moaned again, feeling the silk sheets caress my bare skin.
I snuggled up against a pillow, yawning loudly.
My eyes started to close when a jolt of realisation jerked my consciousness.
Fuck, I was in the Beta Suite. The Beta Suite was meant for the pack beta. There was a party going on to welcome the beta from his trip. I groaned but a voice cut me off. How had I missed his entrance!?
I had never seen a more beautiful man. He had very dark eyes and equally dark hair but that’s not what pulled me in. It was his lips. They were cheery red and f**k if I didn’t want to wrap my legs around his head.
“I didn’t ask for a whore.” The beautiful man dropped his watch onto a dresser.
“Who – who are you?” I couldn’t remember when I ever had a stuttering problem but this man’s beauty was messing with my head. His voice too – hell! I wondered what he would sound like in the throes of passion.
“You’re in my bed. You should know.”
Beta Mason Hanson
I scrambled out of his bed and then I remembered my clothes were on the floor. If I had been wearing panties, his gaze would have been enough to get them soaked.
“You –“
“You smell amazing... What are you – Mate.” He was suddenly before me, his hands cupping my face. Strong hands held my face up so I could stare into his eyes.
“L – let go of me.” I wanted my voice to be strong. What was this weird fluttering in the pit of my stomach? I could understand the moisture between my legs. What I didn’t understand was why my wolf was howling.
“Five years. I’ve waited five years for you and now you’re in my room...naked and you think I would let you go? I think I’m going to keep you, pumpkin. Forever.” He breathed, his breath fanning down against my face.
Oh, man. There was no way he couldn’t sniff what his words were doing to me.
“I – I would scream,” I threatened half-heartedly.
His dark eyes twinkled and my heart slammed as his face drew nearer.
“Oh, doll. You can’t scream with a tongue in your mouth.”
“Wh – mmmmfh.”
