I gaped terrifyingly at the valley below, the chilly breeze storming against me as I tethered on the brink of falling only to be swiftly yanked back inside by the arm that had gripped me, its force slamming the door shut—the chilled panorama turning into an embrace of warmth, infused with the high demon’s aura that immediately assaulted my senses.
