Marina’s POV
I kept forcing my body to take each step as Syry held me back harder and harder. We’ve been fighting all day, but I’m ultimately going to win.
“Marina, stop!” Adonis called after me, grabbing me and pulling me into Mihail’s room. Thankfully he was with Briana somewhere else.
“Let go of me!” I roared at him as I tried to break free. I was going to accept Kai after the year, but the way Syry acted all day changed my mind. I barely remember anything about school as she swooned over Kai living in the castle. She’s going to get us caught if I don’t stop her.
I continued to fight against Syry, but with Adonis holding me back, she was winning.
“Just hear me out!” Adonis yelled. I only agreed so he’d let me go. No one on this planet will get me to change my mind at this point.
