“Are you coming out with us later?” Marina asked me as we walked back to our rooms after training. They start their junior year in a few weeks, though Marina starts with senior-level classes.
I have to say, I’m impressed with Marina. She’s been working nonstop to graduate early and become the Alpha.
“Of course, I’m going to shower, then let’s eat, and we can go. Is Shay coming?” I told her.
“Duh, and Zaire said he’s coming too,” Marina answered, then paused before entering our rooms.
“And Damari is coming tonight,” She said, surprising us both.
