Duncan   I quietly knocked upon Lane’s door again. I had been trying to get her help with the memory potion for Chloe as it was struggling to get it right. I had only spoken to her about twice before.   As I was about to give up and walk away, the door opened a bit and I saw Lane’s face peek out. She smiled sadly at me.   “Hello Duncan,” she said softly. “How’s the potion coming along?”   “Not well I’m afraid,” I said. “I’ve tried three times and they’ve failed each time. I can’t get them to turn the right color.
