I spent the morning planting liriope in the southwestern section of Mr. Henson’s backyard. Thankfully, the man in question was out on an errand, so I wouldn’t have to deal with his ridiculous landscaping ideas for a while. As I worked, I smiled a lot and probably looked like a sap. Things were finally moving to another level with Kyle, and I was thankful. I looked forward to exploring new horizons with him, and that made me happy. Unfortunately, Mr. Henson came back to ruin my daydreams. “Clint, I was just thinking about putting five cherubs in the—” I tuned him out.
