Chapter Three~ Beautiful Blue Eyes

4207 Words
Charlotte fiddled with the delicate black lace that held together the sexy corset and underwear. She was unbelievably nervous but she couldn’t help but feel slightly excited. It was just like old times. She felt someone tap on her shoulder making her turn around quickly in surprise.       Lola stood there smiling with both of her hands behind her back holding something. “So ‘angel’ I think you are missing something...” she smirk before she pulled out black angel wings. Charlotte laughed at the irony but started putting them on with Lolas help.       “Thank you, these are amazing.” Charlotte gushed.      “It’s like they were made for you baby girl. Now forget about everything and go kill it!” She said giving Charlotte a sweet peck on the cheek and ran off to go watch from the Audience.       Seconds later Charlotte heard her introduction followed by the beginning of the song “Don’t Call Me Angel” by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey.  She laughed at the girls who probably thought that would be funny as she took the stage. Keeping her eyes on one spot like she always did she made her way to the pole starting the sensual dance that she would never forget.       Climbing the pole with little effort, she wrapped her thighs around it and peaked her toe at the bottom and spun around with her upper body and head thrown back. Continuing she grabbed the pole again and swung her body to one side of the pole wrapping her left knee around it then delicately and slowly spun downward until both feet could touch the ground. But she wasn’t down because she didn’t stop and stand up she continued downward until she let go completely to fall into a perfect forward split.       When she flipped her hair back dramatically that’s when it happened. Her heart stopped and she suddenly couldn’t breath. Her eyes connected with the most beautiful blue eyes she has ever seen. They pierced into charlottes soul. Luckily it happened so quickly that she remembered what she was doing and changed direction of the dance.       Rolling onto her back she raised her legs above her body to then drop them in a sharp line. Charlotte flipped back over to her chest and noticed that all the chairs around her stage were full and money was scattered all over the floor. ‘When did it get so packed in here?’ Charlotte thought.       Making her way to each man she slightly teased them by rubbing her hands over their pants or grabbing their hands to guide them to touch her body and where. Until she reached the last man. The beautiful man with the blue eyes. He seemed like he was in awe of something but She didn’t give herself enough time to even think about it. Charlotte slowly dropped from the stage and straddled the stranger on his lap. Slowly grinding herself against his pants she felt his member grow harder. She smiled while she reached to his ear and whispered the lyrics to the song softly. Causing the man to dig his fingers into her hips almost making Charlotte moan.       Holding back the desire she pulled herself back to elegantly get off of the stranger but before he let her go he placed a very generous tip into the center between her breasts. Charlotte smiled as she stood up getting back to the stage before the song finished off.       Climbing back up the pole one last time she made it all the way to the top when she weaved both legs around the pole so she could drop her whole body back and grab the bottom of the pole with her hands. This way her entire body was on display. Dropping slowly until her hands were safely on the ground she released her legs and pushed them forward taking her into a short handstand then landing on her heels and dropped her ass into a low s****l pose and looked over her shoulder with her signature sexy eyes as the last beat of the song hit.       Everything was perfectly timed and the crowed erupted in applause, whistles and clapping. Usually it was like that when it was a good show and everyone wants an encore but Charlotte didn’t have it in her to do another. It had been so long since she’s done this and she could already feel her muscles screaming. Not paying attention to the small crowd she reached down and grabbed the tips and made her gracious exit.       She was met with Cherry, Lola, and even Lenny waiting for her at the other side of the curtain with huge smiles on their faces. “That was amazing Charlotte!” Cherry screamed while giving Charlotte a hug.       “It really was sweetie, I’ve never seen anything like that. All the guests were drooling over you!” Lola said excitedly.       “I messed up a couple times. It wasn’t my best.” Charlotte shrugged them both off.         “Well Angel no one noticed. You’ve got talent sweetheart.” Lenny said which made Charlotte even more shocked. “I’ve had seven private dance requests already.”       Charlotte gasped but shook her head “I’m sorry Lenny but no private dances. This was a one time thing.” Lennys faced dropped but he nodded in understanding. “But here are all the tips I just made, can you please disperse them equally between all the girls working tonight?” Charlotte asked as she handed him all the bills she had received.       “Are you sure?” Lenny asked surprised.      “Positive. I don’t need the money but I know some of these women do.” Lenny took the cash and walked off to go count the cash and give it to the girls.       “I can’t believe we met you Charlotte, let’s go get you wasted. Our treat!” Lola said as we all started laughing.      Not even bothering to change out of her outfit they made their way back to the bar top and took the seat that they were occupying before.  Lola took off towards the other side to start making us some drinks while cherry took the seat to charlottes right.       “So Charlotte, how did you go from stripping to photography?” Cherry asked her while giving her undivided attention. Charlotte smirked but then remembered how it all happened and how it led to years later him cheating on her just earlier today. “Oh sorry, we don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.” Cherry said guilty.       “Yeah, let’s not talk about it please.” She replied shaking her head but before cherry could say anything else someone lightly touched Charlotte shoulder causing her to turn from the tingles that it left.       Her breathing stopped again, while her heart rate spiked. The man with the gorgeous blue eyes stared down at her with the biggest megawatt smile. “Hello Angel.” He chuckled lightly with it sounding like a beautiful melody. “Is this seat taken?”      Charlotte suddenly became very bashful and was blushing from ear to ear. She tucked a loose hair behind her ear. “No, it’s open.” She said in a very suductivley sweet voice. It must be the outfit or something giving her this persona.             After sitting down the man leaned over into charlottes ear and whispered “So I heard you weren’t taking private dances? I wanted to finish what we started.”       “Hmm well I technically don’t work here. It was just a one time thing.”       “Oh really? You seemed like you really knew what you were doing.” He blushed while looking down at his beer.      “Well I used to do this but I eventually got a better job. This all used to be second nature to me. “ she giggled back before looking at Lola who handed me my new drink. She winked at her telling her to flirt back.      After taking a sip Charlotte eventually looked up into those beautiful blue eyes again that hadn’t been taken off her yet.  “So what brings you here?”       “My best friends bachelorette party. It was one of the stops and so far it’s been more than worth it.” He replies smiling.       “Oh is that so?” It’s so weird flirting with a man who isn’t Justin let alone a complete stranger.       “Well just one reason.” He blushes glancing away from her.       Charlotte laughs and looks at Lola smiling, “Lola, can we get six shots?”       “What would you like?” Lola asks which makes Charlotte turn to look at the stranger.             “What about Yegar Bombs?” Oh this could be a rough night thought Charlotte.       “Coming right up!” Lola responded.      “So what’s your real name angel?” The gentleman asked me.      “Wouldn’t you like to know?” She replies. “The funny thing is all I keep thinking to call you is the stranger?” By this point she’s giggling into her glass and so is the man.       Nervously he pushes back his sandy hair with his hand and it immediately makes charlottes panties wet. “It’s Logan.”       “Well it’s very nice to formally meet you Logan.” Charlotte reached out her hand to shake his which he does kindly while chuckling.       They couldn’t take their eyes off each other, as they both stared into the others eyes. It was like a trance or something. Their heart rates sky rocketed, breathing became difficult and the irises of the others eyes were growing pure black with emotions. Well at least until Lola sat the shots right in front of them completely destroying the moment.       “Ready?” Charlotte asked taking ahold of the first shot and raising it in the air.       “Always, my angel.” He smirked while grabbing a glass for himself making Charlotte smile from ear to ear. ‘I guess being called angel isn’t so bad when it’s coming out of that beautiful mouth.’ she thought.       They threw back the shot without their eyes leaving one another’s. As they both hid their worst cringe face from the strong alcohol, they started to laugh at the way they hadn’t said another word but were content in each other’s company.       “So can I ask you a question?” Logan asked after a couple seconds of silence.       “It depends.” Charlotte shrugged partially interested.      “On what?”      Charlotte took another moment to make him sweat as she looked around at the bar and kept her attention on everything but him. “Well I guess it depends if you want the truth or not.”       “What are you doing here, if you don’t work here?” Logan asked as he took another drink of his beer. His eyes locked on her.       “It’s a long story but I needed to get away. So I drove until I ended her. I made some friends and they found out about my past which led to the dance...” Charlotte continued nervously, “...but like I said I didn’t want to be found and what better place to hide from someone than in a strip club?” She laughed.      “Who are you running from?” Logan got suspiciously quiet. “The police? Your family?..... Wait no, your husband?” He said it all in a joking way but when he mentioned the husband charlottes heart dropped and her hands started to shake with anger.       She gripped her drink tightly but eventually let go of it to take the second shot. Logan seeing the nervousness and anger in charlottes body language let him know that he screwed up. “Angel I’m so...” he began to say but Charlotte interrupted.       “It’s fine, Um...I think I’m going to go change now and maybe head out.” She really wanted to stay and get to know Logan a little more but she knew if she did she would get more questions about her life that she wasn’t able to admit yet.       As Charlotte started to get up from the stool, Logan reached his hand out to grab hers sending shivers up her arm and down her spine. He tugged softly on it causing her to turn around. “Where are you staying? Do I get to see you again?” He slightly begged with worry. It all just confused Charlotte. She didn’t know what to say or do because it’s been so long since she’s flirted with a man that wasn’t her husband.       “Wouldn’t you like to know?” She said in silky voice. Slightly tugging her hand from his grip she walked towards the changing rooms while swaying her hips in a seductive motion.       Not letting Logan get into her head, Charlotte quickly changed into the clothes she had on before. Grabbing her things she made her way back out to the bar where Logan was still sitting but a couple of guys were surrounding him.       Charlotte reaches up the bar to grab and shoot the last shot she had and placed it back on the counter top. The thing was is that she didn’t notice all the guys who were talking to Logan were staring at her. Not wanting to pay any attention to them, Charlotte decided to make it a little bit harder to keep their eyes away so she leaned into the bar while sticking her ass out and yelled for Lola who was serving a couple of guys at the other end.       Lola came straight over with a huge smile on her face. “Lola how much do I owe you?” Charlotte asked as she dug in her purse.      “Are you kidding me?!? After all you did? It’s on the house baby girl!” Lola said with a wink. Charlotte rolled her eyes but knew to probably not fight it cause she’ll lose in the long run.      “Thanks sweetie! So I’ll see you tomorrow?” asked Charlotte.       “Wouldn’t miss it for the world!” Lola yelled as she walked away to get another drink order from down the bar.       Charlotte turned around realizing that the bachelor party was still staring. Ignoring the stupid nods and smiles she made quick eye contact with the man with blue eyes and winked at him before she started walking away. Before she made it to the doors a hand came flying up from behind her to open it for her.       Turning around she knew already who it was but made sure to give him the side eye for being overly  gentleman like. He continued to stand there holding the door and rubbing the back of his neck nervously embarrassed. “Do you care if I walk you to your car? I want to make sure you make it safe.”        “It’s right across the street. I wouldn’t want to take you away from your little party.” She laughs at him as she flutters her eyelashes at Logan still standing there nervous.       “They can handle their own for a bit.” He laughs nervously and follows Charlotte towards her car. Knowing it was basically pointless that he walked her out but didn’t want to take away from his chivalry, Charlotte continued towards the Jeep taking her sweet time with every step. “Can I ask you something?” Logan asked breaking the silence.       “Hmm?” Charlotte hummed softly in question.      “Well... I need to know...” he stammered while Charlotte tossed her stuff into the drivers seat as she proceeded to shut the door and sit against it. “Will I be able to see you again?” His eyes were glued to hers as his palm gently grazed her soft cheek causing both of their breathes to hitch.       For a second all Charlotte could think of was of course she would want to see this man again. He’s sweet, funny and dorky mixed with just the right amount of sexy but reality got into her again as she thought about her lying, cheating, no good of a husband at home.       That’s too much to bring an innocent man into. He deserves a better women, not used and damaged goods.       “I don’t think that’s a good idea Logan... it might be best if we just go our separate ways.” She finally replied as she turned her head away from him so that he wouldn’t see the tears threatening to escape. Every emotion just started rushing in and even the thought of it all made her sick to her stomach.       Looking up Charlotte finally saw the look in Logan’s eyes. He was hurt and sad but she could still see something else like he was mesmerized or something. Dropping his arms he stepped back from her, “I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have assumed. Have a good night beautiful.” He was still sad but he had his hands stuffed in his pockets and gave her the sweetest softest smile she’s ever seen.      Something came over charlotte as she reached forward and grabbed his arm,  “Wait Logan...” successfully turning him around she raised her hands to his face and pulled his lips to hers. The kiss was electric and amazing. Each movement sent sparks on her skin and lips. After Logan got over the initial surprise he finally got into it and pinned Charlotte in between the car and his body. He didn’t try and grope her or go past any boundaries but he stroked her arms and rubbed the side of her hips.       He was gentle and sweet in every touch. Neither of them even bothered to come up for air until they had no other option. Both of them pulled away gasping. Charlotte used the Jeep to keep her from falling from that head rush and Logan’s hands where place on either side of charlottes head against the car keeping him standing but their bodies never left each other.       Staring into each other’s eyes that held their ground trying to gain anything from what just happened but sadly their moment was over sooner than Charlotte liked because a wave of pain washed over her. The thought of Justin plagued her mind as she felt the pain of years of narcissistic abuse take its toll. She was on the brink of tears and Logan had noticed. In shock he reached in to caress her face by Charlie turned it to the side hiding the fear and pain. “I need to go. Goodbye Logan.” She said pushing past him in a fever of shame.      “Wait please...” Logan tried but it was no use because Charlotte had already pulled open the door and sat in the drivers seat to start the ignition. She drove off without a second look at Logan who was utterly confused and lost with no explanation.       As Charlotte drove to the hotel next door she pulled up to the valet and handed her keys to the man waiting. From where she was standing she could still see the figure that she left stranded in the club parking lot. He didn't see where she went but he stood there seeming to be thinking before he slowly made his way back into the club.  .....      Logan walked in and saw his buddies standing around in the same place he left them at the bar. Adam the groom and Logan’s best friend noticed immediately as he walked straight to him. “Bro what happened?” He asked but Logan was still trying to figure that out himself.       “I don’t know man, she said that it was a bad idea to see each other again so I was hurt but understood until she called me as I started to walk away and kissed me.” Logan was still confused but all he could think about was that kiss.     “Ok and?!?!” Adam was getting impatient.      “I swear she is a goddess or something because I’ve never kissed a girl like that before. Honestly it wasn’t only a kiss it was a full on make-out session against her car and I couldn’t get enough of her.”       “Nice bro! So are you gonna see her again then?” This is where it got weird and Logan didn’t know what to say or do next.       “She changed. Something came over her like fear and she got in her car and drove off.” The words out loud hurt more than anything. He didn’t want to admit that he fell in love at first site but it was true. She already had him wrapped around her little finger.       Adam thought for a second as he put a hand on Logan’s shoulder, “I know you so I know you didn’t touch her inappropriately at least without her permission. Plus you were going to walk away and she pulled you in. It has to be something with her man, maybe she wasn’t ready.” He seemed sincere and the best part was Adam was right. Logan was always a gentleman no matter what he was doing or who he was with. His mom and dad had taught him to respect all women no matter what and that a good women by your side is a gift. So the fact that Adam knew Logan so well since they were kids was obvious and showed.  “Come on man, let’s buy you a drink.”       Adam lead Logan back to the bar where they were sitting and ordered a round of shots and two more beers. All the guys started laughing and joking again talking about all the girls in the club but all Logan could do was sit there and think about her, angel. One of the guys were ranking the ladies from hottest to not and he was already almost finished with the top five.       “And at number one was the Black angel who stole our little Logan’s heart.” Logan chuckled as they all raised a glass in cheers and laughter. The bartender heard the comment though as she was pouring a whole other round of shots for the guys.      Lola the bartender yelled over them asking, “ Oh you mean Charlotte?” She laughed causing Logan’s head to pop up with anticipation.       “Do you know her?” Logan asked.      Lola looked suspicious at him before she noticed it was the guy that Charlotte was flirting with. “Kinda, it was her first time in. She said she needed a place to hide out for a little and so I talked with her for a bit.”       “So she doesn’t work here though?” Logan was desperate for any information this lady could give him.       “Nope, she just ended up here and once cherry and I got to talking to her, we found out she used to be dancer. We convinced her to show us and she didn’t disappoint. Great girl, she even gave all of her tips away to us girls to split for the night. Said she didn’t really need the money.”       Wow all Logan could think was about what this girl was running from. She said the same thing to him during their conversation and he even noticed when she got nervous after he joked about it to her.  “Do you know what she running from?” He quietly asked this time       Lola bit her lip nervously this time and took a deep breath, “I’m sorry but it’s not my business to share. But I can tell you lover boy is that she’s been hurt pretty badly.” Logan’s heart sank. He somehow knew that that was the reason for her running off. Pain takes over and some have to run and hide.       “Please, is there anyway I can contact her?” Logan begged slightly but Lola shook her head at him.      “Sorry baby, she didn’t leave her number or anything here.” Logan let out the last breath he was holding in. It was like everything was against him. But then Lola thought again. “ but she is coming over tomorrow to take pictures of us. Apparently she’s a pretty damn good photographer and Lenny hired her. She’s coming tomorrow at noon.”       Everything seemed to fall in place and Logan’s eyed lit up. It was decided, he was coming back to the club tomorrow at noon. He needed to see her again even if it was for the last time. That though scared Logan more than anything but he didn’t seem to let it get him down.       ....      The men finished off their night with more drinks, laughter and lots of fun before they decided to retire to the hotel across the street. Logan had booked the condo sweet for all the guys as a gift to the groom. Luckily Logan had more money than he knew what to do with.       Under the same hotel Charlotte was letting her worries soak away in the giant Jacuzzi tub and more drinks from the mini bar. Slowly her eyes burned from the amount of tears that were flowing. She couldn’t contain her anger and when she was angry she would cry. It was like a curse that Charlotte could never figure out. This time though she didn’t let it set her back and just let the wave of sadness consume her.
