Promotion and Power Struggles.
Lisa's stance.
Everything was going smoothly in my life, my job, and everything else. I was given a promotion due to my design.
"Look, Lisa. Look who is here," Janet mocked. I turned around only to see Emily's angry face. "I guess we laughed last. Hehe."
"Are you mocking me or what?" Emily screamed. This was all she knew how to do best.
Janet moved closer to her and pointed her fingers. "Yes, I'm mocking you, Emily. What can you do?"
"You..." she stammered. "I'm your senior in this company. How dare you speak like that?"
"Senior? My foot," Janet sneered. "I bet you will be gone soon."
"Hehe! You wanna sack me?" she asked. "Who dares!"
"I dare," a voice spoke. We all turned around to meet Mr. Scott approaching us. "You will be fired."
