“Who the heck is Rose, why haven’t you told me about her?” Max asked.
“This is exactly why I didn’t want to tell you guys about all this. You are all overreacting. Max has never shown her one of her exes and no one asks. So please, don’t insist on the issue,” I told them and they were all quiet.
“We didn’t mean to push harder, we just wanted to know the girl, that is all,” Danny said and once again the doctor saved me from the conversation.
“Your dad has done so well and we can discharge him in the afternoon. His personal nurse will take care of him after we discharge him. And please, don’t shock him with bad news if you do that, you will make him be in shock once again and that can make him die if we don’t get to him on time.
