ROSE’S POV
I didn’t let what my mother said get to me. I was going to go on with my plan no matter what. I went ahead to call Adam after I hang up on my mother. I feel guilty but in the end, this will pay off.
“Hi baby, how are you doing?” Adam chided.
“I am fine my love, I miss you very much, “I told him.
“I miss you too my love, how are things going on there?” He asked me.
“Things are perfect over here. You can’t believe this,” I told him.
“Believe what?” He gasped.
“I got a job at the design house,” I told him the good news.
“Congratulations baby,” He was so excited just like the way I was excited.
“Thank you baby, I will now successfully go on with what we had planned,” I told him and this made me feel good about everything.
