Chapter 3: The furious Witch

CASSANDRA:-

We reach the coven as soon as we can. What I saw made my blood boil vampires were sinking their fangs in witches and using the youngest witches for their pleasure most of the witches were trying to save one another through their magic, but the vampires were there in the majority we were outnumbered as most of the witches were out for their studies and stuff.

"LEAVE THEM ALL ALONE," I said and threw a fireball from my hand to one of the vampires he burned into ashes on the spot. All of the vampires' eyes were on me now; one of them moved forward and spoke.

"Well, well, look who is here the Queen of all witches Cassandra the most powerful of them all, we just came here to inform you that our rogue vampire king wants to marry you and gain all of your powers to become the most powerful in the supernatural dimension.

 We were just here to have some fun, and now that we had, we will take our leaves". He said smirking arrogantly which I didn't like a little bit with just a click of my finger his brain was melted blood coming out of his mouth, ear, nose and eyes he was laid dead on the floor all of the vampires got frightened and started to leave I flew in the air with my power and ordered every witch to surround them with their shielding powers, so they don't get to go they all did just that.

"You guys think you had all the fun, huh? Well, let me have my fun now, and I bet I am really gonna enjoy it, including all the witchers here, aren't we?" I asked the witches they all nodded smirking "Well then let the fun begin" I said with an evil smile on my face I raised my hand which caused all the vampires to float in the air their hands tied on their back with my spell my eyes turned silver with my high source of power which make all the vampires gulped in fear.

"Scared, aren't we?" I said with a heavy voice the next thing I did make their heart and head ripped out of their body, their bodies all fell down on the floor, their leaders and heart followed. I signaled my mother to lit them on fire. She complied and lit their bodies on fire. I came down on the earth from the air.

"Emily, make sure you send their ashes to their king with the message that he will be the next if he didn't stop," I said to my second and command and my friend Emily. She nodded.

"Everyone gather around in the conference room I am calling Elder witches" I ordered them they bowed down in agreement as I was walking I saw my mother following me.

"Baby girl, I don't mean to anger you more by asking this, but I am your mother, and it's my right to ask you that why do you smell like a wolf?" she asked, causing me to stop in my tracks.

"What do you mean, mother, I don't smell like a werewolf? How can you say that?" I asked her while trying to stay calm.

"You do know I am your mother, right? And I am one of the eldest witches so I can easily sense these things unlike the others so now tell me why do I smell wolf on you?" she asked I took a deep breath and replied.

"I found my mate tonight, mom, and he is a werewolf."

"Oh my god! Dear daughter, how it can't be," she said panicking, "You do know it's against our law."

"You think I don't know that mom" I snapped at her than realize what I just did " I am sorry mom it's just that I am under a lot of stress due to tonight's event."

" I can understand that dear we will talk about that later the elder witches are on their way they can sense that as I did so, I suggest you go shower and change we all will be waiting for you in the conference room," she said I nodded and walked inside my room I shower and changed into comfy clothes.

I stood in front of the mirror to comb my hair when all of a sudden the memories of our earlier kiss came into my mind he was such a good kisser his kiss took me on cloud nine I thought what will happen when we had s*x I panicked thinking about that no we can't have that it's against witches law I shook that thought away from my mind and walked downstairs and entered in the conference room where all of the witches were present including the elder witches they all stood and bowed down their hands.

"Queen Cassandra," they all said in unison.

"Sit down, everyone, and you do know why have I asked you to gather here at this time of the night, I asked you to gather here because according to me there is a traitor in our coven who helped the vampires to enter our castle. They are unable to enter our castle without any of the witches help as the whole castle is shielded by our elder witches spells so I suggest you all show yourself by their self otherwise the consequences will be bad" I said in authoritative tone there were murmurs all around the conference room 

"Silence everyone," one of the elder witches Molly spoke. "And Cassandra, if you know who she is, please tell us by yourself instead of creating a disturbance in the conference room," she said to me.

"First of all I suggest you watch your tone Molly, I am your queen, and second of all, I was giving her a chance to show herself on her own will if she does that I will lessen her punishment but now that she hasn't I will take the matters in my own hand," I tell her in a cold voice.

"My apologies, dear queen, please enlighten us with the traitor," she said.

" Lidia, I suggest you come out and confess your crime," I said, and a shaking Lidia gets up from the chair and walks towards me.

"Confess" I ordered she nodded and started to speak.

" I...I... did that because of my mate he is the second in command to his vampire King and according to our law, we can't mate with them other than the humans and wizard. It isn't my fault that the universe chose my mate a vampire we love each other so much one day he asked me to help them get in the castle as he wants to talk to you and reason with you to allow us to be together I agreed to help him I didn't know he was here to hurt my coven. You, if I had I wouldn't have allowed now, he is also dead along with others." she started sobbing after confessing. I thought of putting myself in her place I would have done the same thing, but I wouldn't have allowed anyone to hurt my coven ever, I have also got a mate who is a werewolf what would I do?

"Lidia, I can understand what you did, you did it in love, and the mate of yours betrayed you I would have just asked you to leave the coven if the witches weren't hurt, but now that they are hurt I have to take your powers from you for three months. After handling me your powers, you will leave the coven for good and will only return after three months to take your powers back from me. 

But you won't be allowed to join our coven again" I gave my decision to which she nodded I took all her powers from her body through a royal spell. Only a royal witch dares to take other witches' control. After that, I dismissed the meeting and asked everyone to go in their respectful room and ordered them not to disturb me I walked into my room and climbed on my bed and laid down I picked my phone from the nightstand the screen was showing a mail notification I opened the mail and got excited on it was written:

"Dear Miss Cassandra Anderson,

We are pleased to tell you that you are selected as the Personal Assistant to the CEO of Knight Industries, and you are to start from Monday at 8:00 AM sharp. Good luck with the job.

The HR manager of the Knight Industries."

Oh my God, I have to start from the day after tomorrow I must have to reach my apartment back tomorrow if I have to join for the job I packed my suitcase again and replied to their mail acknowledgment I am the student of Business management it's my last year, so I applied for different jobs. Still, I didn't expect to get a post from one of the vast industries in America. It's my dream to open my own company and be the CEO of it. It's just my beginning to my career because "Every person starts from lower stair first to reach the higher" just like that I am gonna do it. With that thought, I fell asleep on my bed, having dreams of Christian.
