Chapter 5: "Mr.Knight"

Cassandra:-

I left my coven palace on Sunday and move back to the New York apartment I unlocked my apartment door and get inside I placed the keys on the kitchen counter as I was walking towards the living room a white soft fluffy creature jumped on me. I shrieked first, then bent down and picked up my pet cat, namely "Luna."

"Hello, Luna, did you miss me?" I asked her, and in response, she meowed and cuddled into me.

"Awww! I missed you too," I said and patted her with Luna in my left arm and dragged my suitcase with my other hands into my room. I placed my briefcase near my closet, and Luna jumped out of my arms and climbed on my bed. I was feeling tired after a long ride I climbed on my bed and laid down beside Luna. I didn't know when I have fallen asleep; I woke up by the knock on my front door. I climbed out of my bed and opened the front door only to be greeted by my human friend Bella who knows about me being a witch.

"Hey Cassie, you are back" she squealed and hugged me " I missed you," she said I hugged her back and replied, " I missed you too and thanks for taking care of Luna while I was away" we pulled away I invited Bella inside and walked in the living room we sat on the couch.

" I thought you were staying at the coven for one more week," she asked.

"Oh, I was, but I got an e-mail from Knight Industries yesterday informing me that I have been selected as the Personal Assistant to the CEO," I replied.

" Wow, Cassie, just wow, you are selected as the PA to Mr.Knight himself. You do know that it is one of the best industries in the USA," she said.

" Not just one of the best industries but the number one industry of USA," I replied.

" I have heard the CEO is so hot and handsome, but there is no picture of him on the internet. He likes to keep his life private". She said.

"Well, I will let you know tomorrow whether the CEO is hot or not," I said and winked she giggled and spoke.

"So what are you gonna wear tomorrow at work have you decided?"

"No, I was so tired. Therefore, I slept and was woken up by you". I said the next thing I know I was dragged by Bella to my closet; she was choosing my work clothes for tomorrow. She stood there for 15 minutes finding clothes, at last, she took out a maroon pinstripe suit with a black shirt.

"There, you will look professional and sexy as well in this dress," she said.

"Okay, I will wear this one tomorrow. Would you like to eat something and join me for the movie? I am feeling so hungry at the moment," I said.

"Sure, let's just order Thai food and watch the movie she said we ordered the food and went back to the living room and decided to watch "Pretty Woman." After 15 minutes the food arrived we ate together and watched the whole movie we both started to feel sleepy. Bella decided to go back to her apartment while I went to the bathroom to shower and put on my nightgown. I climbed up on the bed and slept.

My alarm was ringing continuously for 15 minutes; therefore, I finally decided to wake up. I am not a morning person usually, but I have to become one from now on as I am joining for the job I showered and put on my suit, which Bella decided yesterday I wore my black toe pump with it.

I curled my long black hairs and did a very slight amount of makeup but decided to apply burgundy lipstick, which matches my outfit perfectly. I put on my gold wristwatch, which was gifted by my father on my 16th birthday. I miss him so much like every girl I was also my daddy's girl, but life and death is part of our lives we have to move on eventually by time. It was 7:30, I have to be there at 8:00 I was already getting late, so I decided to skip my breakfast I picked up my car keys and locked the door from outside I headed towards the elevator and got inside, pressed the button for the parking lot.

The elevator reached there and opened I walked towards my white Honda Civic and get in. I raced the road and entered the Knight industries I parked my car in the parking lot and got inside the building. I was greeted by the receptionist.

"Hello, How can I help you?" she asked politely she was in her early thirties with blond hair and tan skin.

"Hello, My name is Cassandra Anderson, and I am the new PA to Mr. Knight, can you please guide me the way to the CEO's office.

"Oh Sure, Miss Anderson go to the top floor that is 24 by the elevator over there" she pointed the elevator to me " By the way, my name is Claire" she extended her hand and introduced herself I shook her hand ad replied, "Well nice to meet you, Claire." After the handshake, I got in the elevator and reached the 24th floor, the CEO's level; I was kinda nervous about meeting him because it is my very first time for the job, and I hope so I will be able to work correctly. I walked towards the CEO's office and knocked on the glass door lightly.

"Come In" a loud voice came from inside I get in with shaky legs I don't know why I feel like I am gonna be surprised, and my heart is beating so fast last time it hit that much fast was when I found my mate Christian when I walked inside I saw the chair by the desk was facing the window where Mr.Knight sat.

"G..G...Good Morning Mr. Knight. My name is Cassandra Anderson. I am your new PA," I said softly.

"Good morning, my little witch. Did you miss me?" the chair turned around and faced me the person who was sitting on that chair was none other than my mate "Christian" who's now standing with an evil smirk on his face.

"YOU... What are you doing here, and how?" I asked him. He was looking so sexy in his black Armani suit the way he was smirking at me was making my panties wet that never ever happens with me.

" Yes, me, my little witch, and I am here because this is my company, and I am the CEO, namely "Mr. Christian Knight," he said while moving closer to me.

"Yo...You are Mr. Knight?" I said, moving backward as he was walking closer to me.

" Yes, I am Mr. Knight, and you are my new PA," he said by this time I was pinned by the wall and caged by him. Our chest touching one another, his hard-on poking my stomach he started to bent closer to my face I thought he was gonna kiss me on the lips. Still, instead, he removed the hairs from my neck and hid his face in my he started to inhale my scent and started doing light kisses his male smell and closeness was turning me on I moaned when he lightly bit on my neck and sucked on it hard.

I moved my head back, giving him more access to my neck. I heard him groaning in pleasure, which means he was enjoying just like me. We were brought back to reality by the knock on the door; we pulled again, breathing heavily.

"Go and fix your dress in my private bathroom. I don't want anyone else seeing what's mine," he said with a husky voice breathing heavily.

I thought confused what's he saying when he signaled my blouse with his eyes that was unbuttoned and showing my lacy bra and cleavage, I didn't know when did it got undone I was just about to shout at him when the door knocked again. Therefore, I decided to go inside the bathroom and fix myself while going inside the bathroom I gave him a side glance to see he was already sitting on his chair calmly as nothing happened. I walked inside the bathroom and buttoned my blouse and fixed my hair and dress. I stare myself in the mirror to check my appearance, but what I saw made me furious, and I saw red; I didn't wait for a second and walked out of the bathroom.

"HOW DARE TO GIVE ME THIS?" I yelled at Christian, pointing my neck.

"What do you mean, little witch? What did I give?" he asked innocently.

"DON'T YOU ACT INNOCENT AND ALL YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT" I was still yelling at him because that's what I do when I am furious.

"No, my little witch, I don't know what you are talking about please care to elaborate," he asked grinning.

" I.AM.TALKING.ABOUT.THIS.HICKEY.YOU.JUST.GAVE.ME" I yelled with gritted teeth

"Oh that, Yeah, I just gave it to you just to let everyone know you are mine," he replied, shrugging his shoulders. I was glaring at him when I heard a throat cleared I turned to my side to see a man sitting on the chair smiling he got up from the chair and extended his hand for me to shake.

"Hello Luna, my name is Kevin. I am the beta of Midnight pack". I shook his hand when I heard a growl.

"MINE," Christian said.

"Yeah, yeah, man, all yours. I was just respecting our Luna," Kevin said.

"First of all, I am not your luna," I said to Kevin and then turned to Christian. I pointed my finger at him " And second of all, I am not yours" the next thing I know, I was pulled towards a hard chest.

"Listen here Cassandra, you are mine no matter what you say I will find out the reason for you pushing me because I know you feel the same just like me but avoiding me because of a reason. YOU.ARE.MINE," he said, emphasizing, "YOU ARE MINE." I raised my hand up and pushed him away with my magic; he falls back on the wall he stood back, looking shocked.

"How did you do that? I thought the witches can't do their magic on their mates," he said.

"Yes, they can't, but I am royal, so that doesn't apply to me, so you better watch your back. I sure cannot kill you, but I sure can hurt you with my magic," I said.

" I am not afraid of you, little witch I will have you one way or another like I said you are mine and only mine," he said.

"Stubborn," I murmured.

"Only when it comes to you," he said.

"ugh...I am going back I don't want this job if it's with you" I was just walking out of the door when I heard him say.

"If you walk out that door, just remember that I will make sure you don't get a job anywhere else. You do know I am Mr.Knight of Knight Industries, the number 1 industry of US. And what I say happens, so the choice is yours do you want to leave or not" I stood there in shock, thinking what should I do now and what he said is true that whatever he says happens. Should I leave or should I stay?
