True to my words, she stayed away.
“What did you do?” Sarah asks. She hands me a small piece of paper and sits opposite me.
“Not even a hello from you. How rude?” I reply “What is this your phone number?”
“It’s from Amber,” Sarah says biting into her apple, “She told me to give it to you.”
I open the note and skim through the neatly written words.
Library study room 2b at 4:15 pm.
Come with your History and Biology books.
Amber.
I sigh and fold the piece of paper pocketing it.
“Amber had lost sad eyes when she handed me this?” Sarah says “What did you do to screw things up with her Alexandra?”
