Nicolai’s POV
We all watched in awe as Nick let the strange women that came but the threshold of the house come in. I frowned angrily as I didn’t expect him to allow the guards to let them in when we were still freshly mourning. He was being selfish, and I didn’t like it. I shared looks with Emma and she had the same disapproving look as the one I had on my face.
As they came in, I could see them stealing glances at me which had me confused. I had never seen them in my life, so why were they behaving as if they knew me? I could see their moods lift significantly better at the sight of me. I was suddenly curious too as to what they were.
