Chapter Seventy-Four – Max and Thrax.
Max’s Point of View.
My tummy is feeling a bit funny, as I take my seat at the table Miss has given me. I am not scared, because I am a big boy. Okay, I admit it, I am a little bit. It is my first day back at school with a new teacher, and in my last class, I was super lonely. I look at my teacher as she introduces Lucas to the class, and I am crossing my fingers that she sits him next to me, or at least on my table of four. There is a space.
“Boys and Girls, this is Lucas, and he is a new friend. I want you all to say hi to him, and remember to be kind,” Miss tells us.
“Hi Lucas,” I grin at my friend, and wave at him, as he waves back at me.
