Chapter Sixty-Six. Davina.
Watching Mars and Max working together through play is both heart-warming and frightening at the same time. I love seeing how patient my mate is with our pup, and how much Max listens to his father. However, the reality is that if Max cannot control Thrax ready for school, then the path of our lives will take a huge turn.
Both Max and I have had so much change over the past few weeks, that to upheave him even further has me biting my fingernails and tossing and turning through the night. Yesterday, Ares spent most of the day with Thrax in the wooded area he has claimed as his own, as part of the lessons, whilst I spent some time with Sonia, checking in on her, and Justin to see if they were still okay.
