I keep feeling wave after wave of emotion coming through the mate bond, flipping from despair to hope, to relief. It is clear that Mars is going through something, and I know my mate well enough to understand that it has all to do with the talk of having a pack from Max, which has upset his sensibilities.
After our mind-link conversation, I have to admit that I am proud he is facing his fears and wants to battle them head-on now. However, the thing is, as his mate, I should know how to help him. The truth is though. I don’t have a clue how to navigate this situation. I am ill-equipped to offer advice about running a pack because I really have no clue how to do that.
