Chapter Nine. Mars. As I leave the caravan, I take a right, winding my way around the horseshoe of other mobile homes, heading for the small pathway through the trees, that leads to the farmer’s fields beyond. I need to run before I go back to that caravan and claim my mate. Everything about her is perfect, and I cannot help but curse my existence. I could not resist her the night I found her, alone in a club. Watching from a distance. She was oblivious to the pull she had on men. Her friend was ‘out there’, strutting her stuff, letting every man in that club know that she was easy, and they responded with their d***s. But their eyes were on my Davina. Innocence rolled off her in waves, she was a woman too stunning to even approach. She clearly had felt like it was a rejection, but it
