Why is it that even though I know I have done nothing wrong, I still feel shame and guilt? I am second-guessing everything I have ever said to my pup, his clothes, how I have disciplined him, absolutely, everything.
Mars was a star last night, and I know he has to be as equally worried as I am I feel his stress this morning through the mate bond. He is putting on a brave face, smiling and laughing with Max and Lucas, as we all walk to the school, and is more concerned about how I am coping than his fears. Having someone evaluate if you are a good parent or not and have the power to remove the heart of our family from us, is terrifying.
