“Thrax, calm down, Max is safe, we are safe,” I tell my son’s wolf.
Thrax is struggling with giving back control, because he is concerned about Justin’s reaction, and not wanting to leave Max or himself vulnerable during the shift. However, if this continues, it will be painful for my son and dangerous if they get stuck completely.
“What the f**k!” Justin bellows, which doesn’t help the situation one little bit. I would send him outside, but I need to contain him, and the situation, before we have an even bigger problem than we already have.
