By the time Blaire woke up it was nightfall already and she could tell that day had evaporated because the artificial light was on, gleaming gently and adorning her eyes as she gazed up at the ceiling in wonder. Obscurity was evicted and she was awarded with enlightenment when she languidly sat up and rested her back on the headboard. She only studied her surroundings for a fraction of a second before she realized where she was. What she did not know was how she got here and she could only assume that the stranger identified her and brought her back to the man who was responsible for her anguish.
