Nalya "How disappointing," he said, almost turning to walk away. "Oh, can you point me to the head staff office," I said. "It is on the left- you know what, you'll get lost. I'll take you there," "So you're the rogue who's been causing a buzz through the link since last night," he mused, looking at me. "I don't understand," "Forget it, I'm Roman, but you can call me Roma. What's your name?" he asked. I swallowed and answered. "Nalya," "That's the uncommon name," he said. We reached Madam Royce's office, and I turned to Roma, "Thank you," "You're welcome. See you around, Nalya!" I knocked on the door. I heard a faint come in and pushed the door open. "Hi, how may I help you?" The middle-aged woman asked, looking at me through her small eyes. "I was sent here by Miss Juliana to work," I said politely and clearly. "I don't have work for you. I have so many staff already," "I won't be getting paid, so it's free," I said. "No one works for free around here," she chuckled. "I'm not from this pack. I will need to work to stay here," I explained. "You're the rogue," She looked at me before she clasped her hands; " I'll give you a list of chores you'll be doing. Can you clean well?" she asked, and I nodded. I waited as she typed in her computer and printed out a paper for me, " It's not much because we have many employees. Your work will be in the morning so that you can have the rest of the day to yourself," she said, this was good, I could look for a paying job during the day so that I save up. "Thank you, madam," I bowed. "I'll ask someone to show you around so that you won't get lost," There was a knock on the door, and a tall girl walked in. She wore a short skirt, a tank top, and high-heeled shoes. "You called again, madam," she rolled her eyes. "Nalya, this is Azura, She'll show you around, and tomorrow you can begin your tasks," "Do I look like the..." Azura started, but one glare from Madam Royce shut her up. "Fine," she crossed her arms against her chest and glared at me. "Azura... Be nice, and for f**k sake, can you wear proper clothes that cover your legs for once," Madam Royce said. Azura was cold toward me. She was glaring at me and treating me like an i***t, passing snarky comments thinking I didn't hear her, especially when we were in the entertainment area with her friends. "Next on the tour is the ground," she grumbled. The pack house was bigger than I anticipated. There were ponds and swimming pools with beautiful gardens and lawns. According to Azura, the pack house has about 500 werewolves and thousands staying in individual homes. "The entire pack has 10,000 members," she informed me. "How long will you stay here anyway," she sneered. "I'm not sure. I want to raise money before I can leave and stay with the humans," I said. Azura seemed shocked. "Why?" her voice took a gentle tone. "I don't have a home to call my own anymore," "I'm sorry, I can't imagine what that's like," We continued with a tour until we finished. "Thanks for the sandwich," I said, finishing the last of it. She nodded and put the dishes she used in the dishwasher. "It's no problem, and I'm sorry for being a b***h earlier. You don't know it, but you're all the guys talk about, and we were just jealous. You're so beautiful," she said. "I'm sorry," I muttered, not knowing what to say. "Don't apologize," she said. " Autumn Moon Pack is a pack of opportunities. It's full of wealthy people, so if you're looking to earn money, I can help you find a job in town," "Really? Thanks, Azura," I smiled at her, and she returned it. I was going to my room with a smile when I saw him; Alpha Prince Rhaegar. He was talking to three other men and Nate. All the men turned to me once they felt my presence. I bowed as Juliana said and walked away quickly. The next day, I got ready for work. I was to help serve breakfast in the dining hall and then go to the laundry room. "Morning," I said as I reached the kitchen, No one answered me as they were all busy. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with about ten professional chefs making different food. It was all so much yet they made it look effortless. Azura came by my side; "Morning," "Good morning," "So what happened?" I asked. "There are about six long tables for the common folks and then, there is a high table for the Alpha Prince and high-ranking members. We put the food on the table, and they'll serve themselves what they want to eat," she said. "Normally, we do it before they sit, but we were late today," "Okay," "Servers, chop chop, take the food now," the head chef shouted. More than a dozen servers were carrying trays of food. I almost fell on my knees once I reached the dining hall, there were so many people. All were proper in their elegant clothes and sitting like kings and queens on their chairs. They were chattering and smiling. On my right was a higher podium; they looked regal. I felt eyes on me, many but I ignored them and served. "A rogue, seriously?" A snobby girl sneered in disgust. "Well, at least we know where to go when our things go missing," the girl sitting next to her said. I ignored them and continued doing my job. I was so happy to leave and go in the kitchen but Azura and me were told to take the last dish to the high table. My hands started to tremble. I didn't want to face Juliana.
