I sat beside Matt, staring at him until my phone rang. I looked at my screen and noticed that it was from Alex. I quickly muted it and smiled, "That's my boss calling."
"Alright then, you can take his call while I meet with the maids in the kitchen so they can get you something to eat"
"Thanks, Matt," I said to him as he walked away.
I stared at my phone which was still ringing and quickly answered. Whispering into the phone, I said to Alex, "Please, let me call you back later. I am at work right now with my boss."
