“Hello, how can I help you, miss?” the guy at the reception asked as soon as I went there.
“Hello!
Well, I am looking for someone. He is a guest and is staying in your hotel. Could you please check if he is still in the room or not, please.” I asked humbly but I do not think it was going to work.
“Sorry, miss. We do not disclose any kind of information about our guests to anyone. It is against our law.” He informed me right away as soon as he heard me.
“You do not have to. I was just asking you to check if he is still in his room or not.” I tried to persuade him but I guess, it was of no use at all, cause from the other side of the desk came the stern reply,
“I am extremely sorry miss. Have a good day.”
