For the first time in my life, I lie down with a gorgeous woman in my arms, and I’m not bothered. I kiss her good night on her head while running my fingers on her back, and there’s no awkward moment.

I find my bed empty when I wake up. I call Abby, but there’s no response. I quickly get up and pick up my boxers on the floor. I start searching her in every corner of this penthouse, but Abby is nowhere to find.
She just f*****g left me, and she didn’t even f*****g say goodbye. That’s it. And this is what I’m trying to avoid—complications. And this time, I made things between us complicated.
