AFTER a day well spent with Catherine. Latton is traveling back to Fleur de Ville. She was still baffled by Lucian’s strange demeanor yesterday and earlier, she couldn’t stop frowning. Deep inside her mind, she wants to know what’s happening but how without asking him? He most likely won’t tell her anything.
“He didn’t tell me about the wedding being called off.” She says to herself. “Should I hire someone to investigate for me? Nah, that’s too much.” She sighed in frustration, then glanced outside and saw a billboard with the caption ‘Bring your own bag’.
“Bag,” she mumbled, then an idea entered her mind. She then immediately told Melody, “Can you drive downtown, to Bloom’s Luxury Burlap Shop.” Melody nodded and made a U-turn.
“It’s time to visit my new friend,” she said to herself.
