I quickly got ready after ending the call with Mary. We had decided to meet at a club and have some talk, or probably party till dawn. Who knows? All I wanted was just to leave the suffocating state of this house for now.
To my amazement, I felt pumped to be going out and I had seemed to forget about the event of the day and the fact that I was just thinking of a way out earlier.
"Well, I could think about that later, when I come back to this home that does not belong to me," I said to myself as I looked around the house once more before heading out. It was just as empty and void as the person living in it. That was how I felt at that moment.
