I could not believe what had just happened. Did Antonio just hang up on me? I thought in shock and bewilderment.
"What was that? What is Antonio trying to do right now?" I asked no one in particular as I looked in fear and total terror.
I could barely get my thoughts together but I knew I had to do something fast. Antonio was definitely very angry and I could not start thinking of what he could do to Anna.
"Let's go to Antonio's right now!" I yelled at Matteo, who stood ever ready to take my instructions. He swung into action immediately after I gave the order.
I had to get to Antonio before he would do something bad to Anna. He could definitely do that, and I knew his anger would be multiplied as he knew the story between her and Laura.
