Aside from looking at him like he had gone crazy, deep down, I knew he had a point. But why would my grandmother keep her sickness away from me?
Even if what he's saying is true, the saying' too good to be true', keeps ringing in my head.
I mean, why would Mr Rizzo, a handsome successful man come to me, I mean no offense to myself, but why would he choose me to carry his child? Except he thinks I'm hopeless and I have no one except my grandmother and even she's sick.
Oh God, what do I do? I had to be smart about this...
With shaky hands, I picked up the agreement papers. I schemed through the clauses, everything felt like a trap.
Mr. Rizzo kept watching me like a hawk, like a predator hunting for prey, as though he'd strike in the next second.. #sighs, there was nothing
