She stared blankly at the huge thing Her entire body shook like a twig as dark eyes stared back at her. This was not possible. This was not possible at all. It didn't make any sense. How was it possible? This thing in front of her was turning every truth of her life into a lie. It was making her entire existence a complete perjury. She couldn't breathe. Her legs shook and it felt like the ground beneath her has shifted, leaving an endless gawking hole. So this was the reason why the never talked about them. This was the reason why Helena kept repeating those words. This was why Ivan couldn't find anything. It was not a just a mistake or a forgetfulness on the part of her parents.
Everything that happened, everything from the very start has a reason. This immense truth that will tear her life apart.
"Now you know," The woman whispered. "This is the truth behind everything. Are you ready to accept it and face the reality?" She stared up at the woman, her vision blurred with tears.
Was she? Will she ever be?
