Vera groaned as her entire body ached. Reluctantly, she opened her eyes and blinked, sunshine irritating them. Gingerly, she turned and froze as her hand touched something hairy. Vera blinked and quickly sat up, startled. She was even more startled to see the sleeping figure beside her. Okay, she shook her head rapidly and tried to figure out what was he doing in her room? He was half sitting, half lying on the bed, head resting on his arms.
What in heaven's name was he doing here?
He shifted, turning his face to her and Vera stared at him, feeling almost fascinated for no reason. This guy brought out weird feelings in her, if she were being honest. Feelings that scares her but also gives her some kind of kindred hope. Hope for what though, she was yet to figure that out. Enrique groan
