Vera stared at the white dogwood flowers as she sat on the bench, looking beautiful in their full bloom. What time was it? Six in the morning? Seven? She don't know. She just sat and stared at the flowers, the soft morning breeze blowing her hairs. The park was starting to get crowded. It was empty when she came here but now people were coming in to walk themselves or their dogs, for jogging and all that other stuff. She knew she should head home now and get some sleep.
