After dinner, Makayla told Henry she had some reading to do. She helped him wash the dishes and dry them before she headed up the stairs. Henry said he would be on the Defiance.
She climbed the stairs, used the bathroom and brushed her teeth before changing into a pair of pajama bottoms and an oversized T-shirt. Walking back across the hall to her room, she settled down on her bed with her backpack.
