“Should I start paying you too?” Callista mumbled after seeing Luigi carrying a box I should be carrying. We had a mini tug-of-war earlier, but he insisted he would do it. I’m not sure about pregnant humans, but I could still work perfectly. I just have to be a little bit more careful.
Luigi waved his hand, carrying the box with one hand. “Nah, I’m good. So, where does this go again?”
“R-right below. Just be careful, there’s fragile stuff there.” I responded a second late.
He headed inside the stock room, and I heard him diligently stocking the boxes up as I requested.
I feel so out of it since earlier. I don’t know if I was just imagining things or if it was really Dominic’s scent that I caught earlier. If he’s around and found me, he should have confronted me already.
