I was restless, just like everyone else, but for an entirely different reason. The full moon affects all werewolves without fail, but I’m uneasy because this will be my first full moon away from Lianne.
She hasn’t manifested yet, but it could happen anytime now. Even then, I never stray far from our house, as she quickly becomes scared when left alone. My mom did the same when she was alive; I’ve been doing it for Lianne now.
I can’t trust Ruis to do the same, even if he’s willing to do so, though. He’s part of the inner circle, and they gather in a different place. I remember my mother always asking Ruis to spend the full moon with us, even just once, but he never did. He always said he wasn’t allowed to do so.
