Gideon stared at me with so much confusion after I handed him a gift-wrapped box right after he opened the door.
“What… is this for?”
His puzzled reaction made me smile. I know that he’s still worried and guilty about what he did on the night of the blood moon. I figured this would be a good icebreaker. I really wanted to talk to him, too.
“It’s a very late birthday gift.” I responded with a smile.
