Gideon didn’t look pleased when we told him what happened while they were out of town. He had to help compel more humans because a wild animal attack seemed so vague to everyone, and according to Gideon, it would cause a lot of discrepancies as minds are complex that way.
They had to make sure that the news didn’t come out anywhere because, unfortunately, humans are very curious. Instead of backing away from the news, they would try to find more. I’ve been out in the human world for only a few months now, but I know as much. It makes them more terrifying than any other threat we faced because the rest was something we could fight with number, will, and wits. Everything is thrown at the window is it was humans because they are willing to do such lengths to satisfy their curiosity.
