“TWO weeks leave?”
I quickly lifted my head and looked at the President to see his reaction. I swallowed hard when I saw how his forehead furrowed. He looked at the letter he was holding for a few seconds before he decided to look at me.
“Two weeks is too long,” he suddenly commented.
I blinked because of that. I wasn’t expecting his side comment regarding the length of my leave. All I thought was he’s going to approve my two weeks' leave since its one of the privileges of the employees. I submitted this letter almost two days ago and I didn’t think that he hadn’t read it yet when he suddenly called for my presence in his office. If I didn’t mention the letter a while ago, he wouldn’t probably see it.
