With this word, those cops ruined my plan to go back to Miami in a second. They are expecting me to stay in this city, so that when they cath the real kidnappers, I can identify them and they don’t have to do the same mistake they did today. But how can I do this? If Jasper finds out that I’m out of the city, he would get mad at me. He was already angry at me just a few days ago, and I dared to leave the city and travel all the way here to New Jersey to meet Mr. Noah. He even forbid me to take his name from my mouth.
