As we walk up the stairs to the academy Luca takes me hand in his. I turn my head to look at him and he winks at me before reaching forward to open the door. We walk in and the chattering in the front corridor dies down as all head turn to look at us. I gulp nervously and move to take my hand from Luca's but he grips my hand even tighter in his.
Alexis stands to my other side and Stefan walks up to Luca's. Together we seem like a domineering group of elite and it's reflected on the faces of the students looking at us. I feel Alexis clear her throat and I see her flip her hair behind her at the corner of my eye. Everyone suddenly busies themselves minding their business as we walk further into the hall.
We continue to walk side by side until Luca and I reach our classroom. S
